Collection of utilities for writing servers in Python.

Required

• simplejson if Python version < 2.6
• httplib2 for fast http clients.

Optional

• pycurl if you want to use the fastest http client class.
• twisted >= 10.0.0 when using the unuk.contrib.txweb module.
• django >= 1.2 when using the unuk.contrib.txweb.djangoapp module.

Running tests

You can run tests using the runtests.py script from inside the unuk directory:

python runtests.py

otherwise:

from unuk import runtests
runtests()

The name unuk is after Alpha Serpentis a triple start system in the costellation Serpens. Its traditional name is Unukalhai. I like stars.
